USING CLOUD EFFECT AT A WEDDING, IDEAL MEDIA , MD, DC, VA

Posted on October 22, 2018

Cloud Effect

Ideal Media provides a special cloud effect utilizing a fog machine.  The cloud is produced when the combination of heated water and dry ice is placed in a professional machine.  It takes a little more than an hour to heat the water and the cloud effect will last throughout your first dance.  First, It will not affect most smoke detectors.  Second, there is no odor to the cloud unlike other fog machines that use different products to create the smoke.  Lastly, there is no moisture left on the dance floor because dry ice goes from solid to gas when activated by the hot water.

The First Dance

When you use the cloud effect as a wedding first dance for the bride and groom, it adds an elegance of dancing on a cloud to celebrate the beginning of their lives together.  The guest will be wowed the moment they enter the room.  It makes for great pictures and a memorable moment.  Other uses for the cloud effect would be at halloween parties or birthdays parties such as a sweet sixteen for the daughter/father dance.  You can be creative at any venue or occasion to add a touch of elegance, mystery or special moment.

Questions about the smoke

Is the smoke hot?  No. It is cool and is created by condensation

Can it set off fire alarms?  No.  The fog is low to the ground.  If there is a sensitive alarm, it may be triggered. Therefore consult the venue manager beforehand.

Is it safe for people with medical conditions?  There are no chemicals, additives or oils.  This effect uses dry ice dipped in hot water.  The only two things required.

Does it cause slippery conditions?  Most floors are totally fine.
