Wedding Stuff – Ideal Media DJ & Lighting
Posted on April 27, 2016Wedding Stuff with Ideal Media DJ & Lighting
After you get engaged, you have to deal with lots of Wedding Stuff. Where should you start?
Step 1: Analyze Wedding Stuff by using a Wedding Checklist
Here’s a link to a good wedding checklist that you can use to get started. Click here WEDDING CHECKLIST. It can be overwhelming for a couple to organize and do everything themselves. Another option to make things easier is to hire a great wedding planner.
Step 2: Hire a Wedding Planner
Seasoned wedding planners can make your life easier and can save you lots of time. They usually have good taste and can recommend their favorite vendors they’ve worked with on many events. From venues, caterers, DJ’s, decor, lighting, drapery, limousines, wedding cakes, dress and tux, photographers, videographers, honeymoon travel options, etc. Here’s a list of some of my favorite wedding planners:

Step 3: Research your Vendors
It’s great to get recommendations from others, but in the end, you’ll have to do your own research and make a decision. Vendors will have different prices and experiences, which means you should ask as many questions as possible. You should check their photos, videos, website, and reviews. Once you’re comfortable with what you’ve seen and heard, that’s when you should make a final decision. There’s lots of vendors you’ll have to work with:
Venues
Caterers
Event Planners
Photographers
Videographers
Florist
DJ’s
Decorators
Wedding Cakes
Bartenders
Officiants
Always remember to look over all contract and make sure everything stated is agreeable.
Step 4: Trust Your Instincts, and Book as EARLY as Possible
After checking out all of your vendors, you should reserve them as early as possible to avoid them becoming unavailable on your wedding day. Most vendors will require a deposit and signed contract in order to officially secure your day and time range.
Step 5: Use a Wedding Checklist
You or your wedding planner should go down the checklist until it’s complete to make sure every vendor is marked off. Most vendors are ok with some changes that need to be made along the way as long as those changes are updated in your contract.
Uplighting
It seems like brides and planners will be using uplighting for party decorating for years to come. The effects of quality wireless lighting will always create a beautiful dream wedding space. The quantity of lights used will effect how much ambiance or glow the room will receive. Reception lighting makes a big difference for any event space.

Gobo lighting is having an image, name, or logo shown on the dance floor, wall, or ceiling. These images can even be projected on water like lakes, pools, or any large surface. A perfect addition for wedding receptions, birthday parties, and corporate parties.
